EXAMPLE EVENTS:
* Locally sourced meals: This could mean several things. It could mean a cooking session among members, where each person brings an in-season ingredient and together we create a feast. Or it could mean that a nearby restaurant hosts a meal for us. Either way, it will most certainly involve eating delicious food!
* Tastings of local foods: Such as honey, cheese, chocolate, wine…the possibilities are endless!
* Farm tours: A plethora of small Boulder County farms makes this a delightfully simple field trip. What a great way to be involved in local food supply!
* Movie nights: I’m not sure there’s anything better than watching a movie and then cooking a meal featured in it. Ratatouille, anyone?
* Cooking sessions with local chefs: Spruce Confections for baking, Pasta Bozza for pasta-making, Leaf for vegetarian goodness. Educational, tasty, and fun!
* Ideas, please! Have an idea for an event? Let us know! Email slowfoodcu@gmail.com with suggestions.
